Yes we hire out our Surf Clubhouse – conditions of hireage are detailed below.
It is available anytime after Easter through until Labour Weekend;
It is not available at all from early December until late February.
From Labour weekend until early December, and March until Easter it is available weeknights (incl Friday and Sunday), but not Saturday nights.
Outside these times the clubrooms are being used by patrolling lifeguards.
2. Description of Facility
- The hall holds around 100 people seated at tables.
- The kitchen has 2 ovens, 1 microwave, 3 fridges, a sink and hopefully a dishwasher. The kitchen has a servery, as does the next room that is often used to serve drinks.
- Two toilets are available.
- A terrace comes off the hall, which holds 60+ people in fine weather. We have 10 trellis tables available and 90 new chairs.
The cost is $2000 + a refundable bond of $500.
The area will be cleaned spotless before your event; you are expected to leave it in a similar condition.
It is available from midday the day before the event, until midday the day after your event.
Functions must finish to enable all attendees to have left the domain by 1pm.
We do not have a liquor licence, so alcohol cannot be sold, but can be consumed.
We do not cater, but can recommend people.
You are welcome to decorate. There is a large hook in the centre of the room which is useful for bringing decorations out from. And we have a rope around the walls that things can be hung on.
7. Hireage Contract
Your organization will be required to sign a Hireage Contract should you decide to hire the premises.
