Committed to Saving lives at Raglan

Welcome to the new website for Trust Waikato Raglan Surf Life Saving.

The team at Trust Waikato Raglan Surf Life Saving Club (TWRSLSC) provide a valuable community service and are committed to ensuring Ngarunui Beach is a safe place to swim during the summer season. Our members are all volunteers from patrolling members, competitors through to the executive management team.

Surf Life Saving New Zealand is split into 4 Regions and of the 17 clubs in the Northern Region, Raglan is the southern most, lying on the west coast adjacent to the world renowned Manu Bay left hand surf break.

As a non-profit organisation, TWRSLSC depends on the goodwill of the community, commercial sponsors and special fundraising events to maintain the standard of lifeguarding required on one of New Zealand's most rugged west coast beaches.

Although patrolling our beach is our major priority, community education, surf sports and lifeguard development are all part of our services. We reach into all parts of the community and involve all ages, both male and female. Donating to the Trust Waikato Raglan Surf Life Saving Club (TWRSLSC) cause is easy.

TWRSLSC volunteers turn up every weekend and public holiday from Labour weekend through to Easter to ensure the beach is safe and to ensure your day out at the beach only ends with great memories of a day in the sun.
